We are located at 32 Melmore Terrace in the picturesque Old Cromwell.

We have a million-dollar view looking over the Kawarau arm of Lake Dunstan. Cromwell’s Old Precinct is only a 200-metre walk away.

We provide a friendly atmosphere for all members, member’s guests and affiliated members. We offer everything for everyone with a great main bar lounge with a million-dollar view, gaming room, with 11 gaming machines,  pool table, 3, dart boards, plenty of big screen TV’s for sports etc, an excellent outdoor area and our Bistro “the Printers Bay Bistro” where we offer fantastic home cooked meals.

We invite our members, member’s guests and affiliated members to enjoy our friendly, comfortable, relaxing environment.

As a member of Clubs New Zealand we welcome affiliated members from around the country as well some in Australia. To find out if your club is affiliated go to – find a club section.

We are very proud of our club – the committee is focused on continued growth with memberships growing at a steady rate & a comprehensive long-term renovation plan.

Our Club

Chrissy Edwards – Club President

Chrissy is into her 3rd term as President. Chrissy is a keen supporter of the club and is enjoying helping grow and improve the club to secure our future within area as well as the national club movement. With the before mentioned in mind, we have just given the go ahead to have concept plans drawn up to extend our Club. This is something that we and many of our members feel has to happen sooner rather than later.

Chrissy is a qualified Chef, working as the head chef at our only local retirement village Ripponburn Rest home, this brings a wealth of knowledge to our Club.

Neil McDowall – Club Secretary / Manager

Neil has come to us with a long history in the Hospitality industry, training as a chef in Invercargill, moving to Te Anau in 2000 where he moved from cooking into management. After a 6 year stretch as Secretary Manager of the Te Anau Club Neil came across to Cromwell in 2014.

Neil has been focused on looking after our Members as well welcoming new members and business into our club and recently working towards our Clubs major renovation. Neil was elected on the Clubs New Zealand Board in 2016 and is now in his 3rd term as the Otago Southland Area Representative. Neil holding this seat costs the Club a little time, but the knowledge gained has been invaluable to our Club.

“You don’t just join a club, you belong.”
