Chrissy Edwards – Club President
Chrissy is into her 3rd term as President. Chrissy is a keen supporter of the club and is enjoying helping grow and improve the club to secure our future within area as well as the national club movement. With the before mentioned in mind, we have just given the go ahead to have concept plans drawn up to extend our Club. This is something that we and many of our members feel has to happen sooner rather than later.
Chrissy is a qualified Chef, working as the head chef at our only local retirement village Ripponburn Rest home, this brings a wealth of knowledge to our Club.
Neil McDowall – Club Secretary / Manager
Neil has come to us with a long history in the Hospitality industry, training as a chef in Invercargill, moving to Te Anau in 2000 where he moved from cooking into management. After a 6 year stretch as Secretary Manager of the Te Anau Club www.teanauclub.org.nz Neil came across to Cromwell in 2014.
Neil has been focused on looking after our Members as well welcoming new members and business into our club and recently working towards our Clubs major renovation. Neil was elected on the Clubs New Zealand Board in 2016 and is now in his 3rd term as the Otago Southland Area Representative. Neil holding this seat costs the Club a little time, but the knowledge gained has been invaluable to our Club.
